CIRCLE OF SECURITY: PARENTING

A compassionate program to support parents in building strong & trusting relationships with their young children.

Circle of Security: Parenting is a group workshop for parents of young children (5 or under).

In this 8-10 week program, parents reflect upon their child’s emotional needs and how to sensitively respond. The goal is to foster a secure attachment, which contributes to lifelong well-being. The group consists of educational videos, reflective questions, and group discussions.

INFORMATION:

  • Next cohort will begin March 29

  • Wednesdays 5:30-6:30pm

  • Group will be held virtually

  • We accept referrals at any time; if group is currently closed, referrals may be added to an interest list

  • Funding: Medicaid, Anthem/BCBS, Aetna are accepted (subject to co-pay/co-insurance)

  • Private pay is $50/session

  • Facilitators: Emily Barfuss Egbert, Andrea Joyce
