CIRCLE OF SECURITY: PARENTING

A compassionate program to support parents in building strong & trusting relationships with their young children.

Circle of Security: Parenting is a group workshop for parents of young children (5 or under).

In this 8-10 week program, parents reflect upon their child’s emotional needs and how to sensitively respond. The goal is to foster a secure attachment, which contributes to lifelong well-being. The group consists of educational videos, reflective questions, and group discussions.

INFORMATION:

  • Next cohort will begin in January 2023

  • Mondays 5:30-6:30pm OR Tuesdays 10-11am.

  • COSP is offered four times a year, and it begins once we reach minimum enrollment (6-8 parents).

  • Group either virtual via Zoom OR in person at our offices, with child care provided. 

  • Funding: Medicaid & private insurance (subject to co-pay/co-insurance).

  • Private pay fee is $50/group. Sliding fee scale and scholarships are available.

  • Group is in English
